Dr. Chad Bishop

After attending Western Kentucky University for his undergraduate degree in Animal Science, Dr. Bishop attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.  From there he started his first job as an associate at a busy animal hospital in Sandy Springs, GA and remained an associate there for 6.5 years.  Recently, he has opened his own practice in the quaint city of Alpharetta, where he has lived for the last 6 years.

Dr. Bishop shares his home with his two dogs, Butters and Nadia, his cat, Tink and four turtles.  He spends his free time fishing, camping, hiking and relaxing with friends.

Dr. Bishop is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.   He is also a member of the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Jen Di Cicco

Dr. Di Cicco attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and Biology. From there, she went on to veterinary school at St. Matthews University, and completed her clinical studies at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Dr. Di Cicco completed a small animal rotating internship at Auburn University and a specialty internship in internal medicine and critical care at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Di Cicco worked as an emergency veterinarian and an associate veterinarian prior to joining the team at North Main Animal Hospital.

Dr. Di Cicco is married and has 2 daughters and a Golden named Norman.  Her free time is spent with her family outdoors, preferably on a beach.


Debbie Poindexter • RVT

After selling her restaurant in The Florida Keys, Debbie entered into veterinary care as a client services representative in 2000.  She continued to pursue her education for small animal health care and earned her RVT license in 2006.  She shares her home in North Atlanta with Frankie the Chihuahua. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys reading, decorating & vacationing on the beach.


Kalyn Stevens • Technician

Kalyn moved to the North Atlanta area in 2003. She obtained an Associates degree in Health Information Administration, National certification in Phlebotomy, and in May 2017 graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and HR Management Certificate. She has been at North Main Animal since the doors were open in 2014 as a Veterinarian Technician. Even though she does not have any pets herself, she considers all of the pets that come to NMAH as her own.


Sierra Smith • Veterinary Assistant

Sierra is a veterinary assistant at NMAH. She grew up in the Alpharetta area and attended South Forsyth High School. She then went on to attend the University of Georgia to receive her Bachelors of Science in biology. She plans on attending the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine in the fall of 2018. She has always loved animals from a young age and currently has a Chihuahua named Pixe and a Pittie mix named Fred. In her free time, Sierra likes to horseback ride and spend time outdoors.


Kevin Pease • Veterinary Technician

Growing up in California, Kevin started working with animals at a young age. He worked wildlife animals such as the endangered island fox while studying conservation in the Amazon Rain forest. He also worked with other exotic animals throughout multiple internships. He moved to Washington State where he completed a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Management and Forestry. Kevin has worked on a research project on the Australian monitor lizard on Kangaroo Island, South Australia. Since then, Kevin has moved to Gainesville, Georgia where he is working on completing his Veterinarian Technician Certification.
